The sale will feature a small private collection of Moorcroft, which includes an important Monumental Moonlit Blue Landscape Pattern Vase made as an exhibition piece for the 1924 British Empire Exhibition in London. Also of note is a stoneware serving bowl by Dame Lucie Rie, Japanese pottery by the likes of Shoji Hamada, and a collection of Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, Art Deco and Arts and Crafts metalware.
Amongst the furniture in the sale are good Art Deco chairs, mid-century furniture, and finely made High Wycombe furniture by Stewart Linford.
