A rare archive of early West Ham United football programmes is expected to sell for over £10,000 when it goes under the hammer in the 1st April Toys, Models, Collectables, Sporting and Fishing Sale. Dating between 1913 and 1945, the collection was put together by the vendor’s grandfather, a devoted West Ham supporter who kept all the programmes from the matches he attended. In total, the collection includes 164 programmes, which are being sold in ten lots.
The sale will also include a good variety of interesting lots, including an Elvis-owned shirt, a collection of Mamod models, vintage enamel advertising signs and a good range of fishing equipment.
