A rare concert ticket signed by The Beatles is coming under the hammer in the Toys and Collectables, Sporting and Fishing Sale; the ticket was for a concert by The Beatles, held at the Grosvenor on Prince of Wales Road, Norwich on Friday 17th May 1963, at the height of Beatlemania. The signatures of Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison were obtained by the vendor of the ticket, after they attended the performance. For those who veer towards the Punk era, there is also on offer in the sale a set of signatures from the Sex Pistols, inscribed on a page from a 1977 NME magazine advertising the album ‘Never Mind The Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols’.
Further notable lots include a set of Yoko Ono signed Christmas cards; a rare Sex Pistols advert from NME signed by the four band members, a significant collection of Victorian Racing Tokens, and Trains including Hornby, Bassett-Lowke and Continental O gauge, Hornby Dublo, modern OO Gauge. There will also be a good selection of fishing, sporting, advertising, toys and collectors items.
