The 500SL is now a very sought after sports convertible with bags of power and 90’s style. This example is finished in dark metallic blue with blue hood. On inspection the paintwork appears to be extremely good no signs of corrosion suggesting a more recent respray and to a high standard.

Exterior trim panels have been painted in a slight contrasting blue and unusually finished in mat paint.

The hood condition is extremely good, perhaps a factory replacement and in full working order.

All wheels appear to be in first class condition but the tyres are showing signs of wear with evidence of some perishing.

The interior shows no signs of damage but there is general discolouration and dirt ingress on seats and trim commensurate with age.

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
