A Fine 19th Century Mahogany Microscope Cabinet with Ross Binocular Microscope, the breakfront cabinet with glazed middle section for the microscope flanked by fifty two numbered drawers under glazed covers for slides and accessories, height 56cm, width 82cm, containing approximately six hundred and fifty slides including biology, histology, botany and insect parts (many professionally prepared). The large lacquered brass binocular compound microscope by Ross of London, numbered 5180, with rack & pinion coarse and fine focusing, single objective, mechanical circular stage, condenser to sub-stage, plano/convex mirror, raised on two turned pillars, on an A-shaped base, accessories include a monocular attachment, objectives, bulls-eye magnifier etc
