Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased Long-eared Owl (Asio otus), circa 1880-1900, a full mount adult with head turning to the right, perched atop a small branch, issuing from grit covered grounwork, amidst a naturall setting of tall dry grasses, set against a plain papered interior, enclosed within a typical period ebonised single-glass display case, 36cm by 17cm by 46.5cm.
