A French Grey Marble and Gilt Metal Striking Mantel Clock with Garniture, retailed by C Douard Marlin, 26 Rue Amelot, circa 1890, case surmounted by an urn, lion mask side carrying handles, base raised upon claw shaped feet, 4-inch grey marble dial with Roman numerals and signed by the retailer, twin barrel movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, movement backplate stamped Marti, E.M and numbered 692, 43cm high, together with a pair of four-light grey marble and gilt metal candelabra, 48cm high

27.06.11, Case with the metal mounts slightly faded, mable looks clean, movement looks complete and clean, pendulum missing, garniture with minor surface scratches to one of the bases.
