In fully restored condition. Fairly stiffly relined, cleaned and revarnished. The surface is slightly flattened and the paint is thin in places owing to the restoration process. Stretcher shadow to upper edge. Areas of fine stable craquelure. Light surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Fine and sporadic retouching and infilling to old craquelure, mostly within the sky. Retouching to upper left hand corner. Otherwise in a broadly good and stable state of preservation.
