. The overall colour represented in the catalogue and the first image on the website is a better and truer representation as the ivorene has discoloured with a yellowish hue which is more pronounced in some areas. There is also a fine, small sized splatter of paint? across the surface. This can be seen on the image displayed on the website and the discolouration previously described is more pronounced around these white coloured splashes. There is a small piece of paper? or loose cutting from mount? along the lower edge and is approx 0.2mm wide by 0.5cm in length. There is also a vertical line of white gouache? in the upper right hand corner. For further information please contact the department.
