In fully restored condition. Slightly stiffly relined cleaned and re-varnished. Surface is slightly flattened as a result of the restoration process. Canvas slightly adrift of slip in frame, right corner/edge. Some surface dirt and discoloured varnish now in evidence. Two vertical lines of retouching full width of the canvas on the right-hand side at approx 3cm and 2cm from right-hand side edge. Further retouching to corners to lower right and upper right corner. Other sporadic retouches within this vicinity. Further fine horizontal line to retouching lower left corner 3cm in length and less than 0.5cm above lower edge. Odd further less noticeable retouch elsewhere.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
