Keningale, Warwickshire, a high quality pair of full mount adults, the male positioned above the female below, both perched upon a small tree stump, mounted above painted soil groundwork, amidst tall dry grasses, set against a green painted backdrop, enclosed within an olive green painted three-glass table display case, 28.5cm by 16.5cm by 49.5cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior upper left, with trademark inset farthing coin to groundwork

Highlights include a large Late Victorian Diorama of Sea and Estuary Birds, circa 1880-1900 and a cased Late Victorian King Charles’ Spaniel “Charlie”, circa 1860-1880 from the Harold Soar Collection, a cased Mandarin Duck, late 20th century from a private collection of cases mounted by David Keningale, and a Diorama of Red-Legged Partridge, 1997 from a private collection of cases by Colin Dunton.
