Joseph Farquharson is arguably best known for serene paintings of sheep and snowbound landscapes. This work though is altogether more dynamic and fizzes with energy and vitality. As well as being a talented artist Farquharson was also Laird of the Finzean estate in the Dee Valley, Aberdeenshire.
