A George III Mahogany Striking Table Clock, signed Law, London, circa 1790, case with arched top and carrying handle, glazed side viewing windows and pull repeat cord, base raised upon bracket feet, 7-inch arched brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, finely matted dial centre with date aperture, the arch with two subsidiary dials for rise/fall and strike/silent and signed Law London, twin fusee movement with verge escapement and striking on a bell, movement backplate engraved with scrollwork throughout, and secured by brackets, 43cm high

06.05.11, Case with some small cracks to the surfaces in places and some moulding is lifting in parts, back door with a scuff mark and a new lock has been replaced, hinges to back door have been replaced, movement is striking.
