Taxidermy: A Rare Satinette Canary (Serinus canaria), an unusual and rare full mount adult, perched upon a small branch, above simulated lichen below, enclosed beneath a modern circular glass dome, diameter 14cm, overall height 27cm. The satinette canary is a canary with a sex-linked recessive mutation that causes the disappearance of black eumelanin and brown phaeomelanin from its feather pigment
