Cleaned and revarnished. Relatively fine retouching along top edge. Retouches through the man's hat/cap. Retouches to background up and right of the gentleman. Sporadic retouches to his left lapel. Strengthening to the leaves of the rose, the knot of the wood, the crack of the wall to upper right hand corner has been strenghtened. Some general infilling, presumably to old craquelure, within the shadow behind the seated lady and is more concentrated running down towards the seat of her chair. Further sporadic less notable retouches elsewhere. Paint a little thin in places. Areas of varying sized craquelure.
