Scattered further filled and retouched losses in the chest, a few larger patches of overpaint to the face and chest, possibly to cover abrasion, e.g. below the necklace, to th eright of the eye, and to the centre forehead and minor retouched and unretouched losses in the background (see images in UV). A line of minor old losses and restoration at all edges, with accumulated varnish and dirt. There has been some abrasion to the upper paint layers, including in the hair, eyes, and shadows in the chest, the jewel at the bustline, and in the drapery. There are remants of a thick old yellowed varnish in patches, and a slighly patchy glossy upper varnish. A little ingrained dirt and an upper surface dirt layer.
