A Sèvres Porcelain Empire-Style Cabinet Cup and Saucer, 1814-24, the cup of flared cylindrical form, painted with a foliate wreath hung with swags within formal gilt borders, the saucer with a pink rose spray within harebells and formal gilt borders, stamped marks in blue

No cracks or restoration. Saucer with foot chips. Gilding free from loss but with slight surface scratches. Glaze in good order. Enamels with some flaking to the pink enamel on the cup.

The Summer Fine Sale offers nearly 450 lots of ceramics, Asian art, clocks, rugs, works of art and furniture, including a collection of 19th century Terracotta Campagna Urns from Raby Castle, County Durham, a Lock of Florence Nightingale's Hair, and a French Alabaster Figure Group of the Holy Family, probably made in South West France in the late 14th century.
