In good original unlined condition, the work has reasonably thick impasto in places and delicately applied brushwork in other areas there are areas of dirt and discoloured varnish and it is contained within its elaborately decorated Victorian gilt plaster and wooden frame with original gold leaf wooden slip, under glass.
