Attributed to Alfred Tidey (1808-1892): Portrait Miniature of Two Pretty Little Girls, one kneeling by and one seated in a tub chair, holding posies, a garden seen through a window beyond, inscribed on a later label verso Possibly by Alfred Tidey, watercolour on ivory, oval, 15cm by 13cm, with paper note inscribed This miniature belongs to Dorothy Layton & from 1927 (June 29) it is hers CFH West June 1927, in a folding leather two door easel back case

Case in poor condition, right hand side front cover detached. The miniature has a crack running entirely up the right hand side segment, and also on the left, and a crack running across the top segment (this is so large that the ivory veneers were probably cut to appropriate sizes and fitted together so this may be natural? 111111
