Slight stretcher shadow. Diagonal crease to canvas from centre of top edge across to approximately 5cm down from top corner. Exposed areas of the canvas by design. Canvas slightly loose on stretcher. The odd brush bristle within the paint- in particular to the girl's chin. Has been cleaned. Some very sporadic areas of re touching, in particular to the top of the crease top edge and to the left of the girl's shoulder in a straight line, also the odd area lower right.

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
