There are three patches to the back of the canvas, with additional puncture holes lower right. There is considerable craquelure throughout, although the paint is stable. the stretcher marks are visible with a crease to the canvas centre right. Some surface dirt and discoloration of the varnish. There is a row of horizontal pin holes approximately 1'' from the top of the mount. There is a reparied tear lower centre, approximately 4cm. Repaired puncture mark approximately 1cm diam, lower right. Not examined out of the frame, not examined under a uv lamp, overall condition reasonable.

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to Prospective Buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale.

We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a condition report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
