Some surface dirt and discoloration to the varnish. Numerous small creases to the paint surface. There is a push mark centre right, the canvas is still intact, with two push marks upper centre, one where a large bulge where something has slightly stretched the canvas. There is an additional push mark centre right, the canvas is still intact with a v-shaped tear to the upper left of the violin, approximately 6cm. Craquelure throughout but thepaint is still stable, with a further push mark lower right leaving a bulge. The painting has possibly been cleaned inthe past, the surface of teh varnish appears patchy. Not examined oput of the frame, not examined under a uv light, overall condition reasonable
