The MG Midget was essentially a slightly more expensive badge-engineered version of the MkII Austin-Healey Sprite, with four versions. Production began in 1961 with the MkI then with some slight changes came the MkII and MkIII taking us up to 1974 when the Midget 1500 was introduced with rubber bumpers to meet US federal regulations and the round rear wheel arches now square again to increase body strength.

This one of the latter Midgets and is a stunning example with its orange paint work and de-bumpered look (sebring style) which suits the car very well. It comes with lots of old invoices for parts and/or work carried out and old MOT certificates
