An Early Victorian Silver Four Piece Tea and Coffee Service, Samuel Hayne & Dudle Cater, London 1841/42/43, baluster melon fluted form, elaborately chased with scrolling foliage and flower heads, with leaf capped scroll handles and foliate shell rim, on shaped circular foot, the teapot and coffee pot with pheasant finial, the coffee pot 26.5cm high, 79oz 4dwt (4)

. All marked to underside, covers part marked. One finial part marked, the other lacking some of the flowers beneath the pheasant. One of these flowers is present but detached, this piece is part marked. Ivory insulators. Gilding to cream jug and sugar bowl pale.
