A Chinese Biscuit Porcelain Demi-Lune Stand, Kangxi, painted in famille verte enamels with a bird amongst foliage within a panelled border, on later stand

Porcelain - feet missing. Chipped. Heavy scratching and crazing to the top. 

Base - left hand ruyi with loss to terminal at the rear. Chip to the right hand rim. Openfret undertier loose, with a section to the back left detached an another small piece detached from this, both retained.

The Autumn Fine Art Sale offers a strong mix of traditional antiques, led by a fine pair of Chinese Porcelain Yellow Ground Medallion Bowls, and a very rare 17th century 'Detector' Lock, one of only a handful known by Birmingham locksmith John Wilkes. Also on offer are a selection of Bear Jugs from the Collection of the Late Stanley J. Seeger, and A Private Collection of Barometers.
