Canvas slightly loose on stretcher. Stretcher shadow. Push mark front to back which is fairly pronounced but does not fully puncture canvas, just below upper stretcher directly above the lady's outstretched arm. A further less pronounced push mark directly below this approx. 15cm. General rubbing to outer edges. Numerous other nicks, scratches, scuffs and abrasions, mostly contained within an approx. 5cm border of the edge (but not exclusively). Additional noticeable series of gouges to surface within background to left of lady's fringe and approx. 2-3cm in length. Other surface scratches and nicks to be found elsewhere but of a less comment worthy scale. Covered in a layer of dirt and discoloured varnish. Not examined with a UV light. A.F
