Each piece is marked near rim. The ladle marked inside bowl. The marks are clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some scratching and very minor loss to the finish on the wood on some pieces. The silver mounts have been cleaned on one cup and otherwise the silver is tarnished and would benefit from being polished, as can be seen in the catalogue photograph.

Auction: The Selected Contents of Bell Hall, 15th Nov, 2024
An eclectic and decorative mixture of antiques and contemporary art will be coming under the hammer this autumn, when the Selected Contents of Bell Hall, Naburn, York, will appear in a single-owner sale at Tennants Auctioneers on 15th November.
The collection was put together over several decades, and draws together good period oak furniture, folk art, 19th century samplers, and Asian art alongside modern and contemporary paintings, ceramics and works of art, many pieces with an animal theme.
