The First World War Diary of S/18206 Staff Sergeant Major Edward Morris DCM, RASC, dating from 13th December 1914 to 18th November 1915, in which he describes his first days in France and his experiences there. (There appears to be no record of him after 1916). Together with a transcript and research material including photocopies of medal cards, London Gazette Supplement, Census records, records of some of his peers, a photograph of his sister and brother in law Alice and Ernest Munford, etc
