A Marine Chronometer Movement, signed Barraud, Cornhill, London, No.403, spring detent escapement with Arnold's type balance, free sprung helical hairspring, diamond endstone, silvered dial with Roman numerals and later inscribed Fletcher, London, Maker to the Admiralty, no.403, subsidiary seconds, in a later oak mantel clock case, movement circa 1810, dial and case later, 18cm high

08.08.12, Case with two mouldings loose to the top side, front left hand side carving with slight losses, bottom pad feet are chipped, dial has discoloured and with small scratches, wax to the Roman numerals is missing in parts, dial with a later inscription, movement needs cleaning, some scratches to the movement plates, balance swings correctly when adding little pressure to one of the wheel teeth, movement circa 1810, dial and case later.
