A Victorian 1827 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword, the 81cm epee steel blade faintly engraved with crowned VR cypher and scrolling foliage, with gold PROVED poincon, the brass gothic hilt pierced and cast with royal cypher, with hinged guard and wire bound fishskin grip, with brass scabbard, 98cm; a Very Similar Sword, with 84cm steel blade and brass scabbard, 99cm (2)

Both swords have pitting and nicks to blades, one has a rounded tip. The hilts are bent and the fishskin on one has losses and loose wire binding. Both have dents to the scabbards
