A Pair of Chelsea Porcelain Figures "The Imperial Shepherds", gold anchor marks, circa 1765, he stands wearing floral attire and outholding his right arm, holding a hoe in his left hand, a dog at his feet, she holds a basket of flowers in her upheld apron, a posy of flowers in her left, a sheep at her feet, against encrusted flowering shrubs from rococo scroll bases, enriched in gilt throughout, each with impressed R, 34cm by 32.5cm high respectively

Male - his right hand has been considerably restored and this extends to the cuffs on his sleeve. Ribbon on left leg slightly chipped. Head of the dog restored and dog's right ear chipped off. General chipping to bocage. Tip of blue flowing cloak chipped and restored. Red ribbon at the back of his hair slightly chipped. Sold a/f. Other faults and restorations may be present but not noted in the preceding condition report. Female - some staining on the front scroll feet. Sheep's right ear chipped off (piece not retained) and left ear chipped at the very tip. General chipping to the bocage (flowers and leaves). The little finger on her left hand is chipped off and the tips of two other fingers chipped off. The purple feather in her hat is chipped (piece not retained). Sold a/f.
