A Walnut Chest on Stand, circa 1710, the moulded cornice above two short over three long drawers, on a base with a long drawer and spindle-turned supports with bun feet joined by a flattened stretcher
105cm by 59cm by 137cm
Sold for £550
Estimated at £300 - £500
The drawer fronts have later handles, with some previous handle marks visible. Side panels are split. The base section is in poor order, with repair and various splits to the stretcher. The spindle legs have had metal clamps added to secure; however, this needs some attention, and at the moment the joints in the lower section are weak. Please see additional images online.
