A Chinese Porcelain Dragon Bowl, Guangxu reign mark and possibly of the period, painted in coloured enamels with dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst cloud scrolls above waves within a Greek Key border, six-character reign mark in underglaze blue

The Summer Fine Sale offers nearly 450 lots of ceramics, Asian art, clocks, rugs, works of art and furniture, including a collection of 19th century Terracotta Campagna Urns from Raby Castle, County Durham, a Lock of Florence Nightingale's Hair, and a French Alabaster Figure Group of the Holy Family, probably made in South West France in the late 14th century. A Private Collection of English Pottery will be offered in twenty-three lots, including numerous Prattware and Creamware figures, and the sale will also include pieces of fine 19th century furniture and good early oak and walnut furniture.
