A Victorian Dress Uniform to an Officer of the Royal Naval Reserve, comprising:- a tailcoat and trousers with gold lace trim; a black silk bicorn hat with black oak leaf and acorn jacquard ribbon trim, black gros grain rosette set with gilt entwined cord centred by a button and flanked by bullion and cord applique, in a japanned tin box; a pair of epaulettes in gold lace with cord borders, each set with a button and silver anchor within ROYAL NAVAL RESERVE raised border, and with a double row of twenty large bullions and nineteen small bullions, backed in black morocco and velvet, with brass clip, in a fitted black tin box; and an associated 1827 Pattern Royal Naval Officer's Sword, the gilt brass gothic hilt cast with a fouled anchor, with wire bound fish skin grip, lion head pommel, bullion sword knot, with brass mounted black leather scabbard with gold lace trimmed waist belt and slings, all contained in a japanned tin trunk initialled J.C.R.
