A Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Obadiah Brandreth, Middlewich, circa 1790, the case with swan neck pediment, turned pillars, wavy shaped trunk door flanked by fluted pilasters, rectangular plinth with later feet, 13-inch arched brass dial with Roman and Arabic chapter ring with inner date ring (central date hand missing), dial centre with engraved scroll work and subsidiary seconds, rolling moon arch signed above, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 218cm high (one weight missing)

02.06.10, Case with scuff marks in places and dents, glass looks dirty, plinth with later added feet, later added wooden dial surround, dial needs restoring, later hands, central date hand missing, movement looks dirty and needs cleaning.
