Flowers and Pictures of the Holy Land. Jerusalem, [c.1890s]. Oblong 4to, olive wood boards, upper board with central repeating Cross of Jerusalem motif, lower board with cross outline enclosing stamped word 'Jerusalem', leather-spine lettered and decorated in blind; 12 monochrome photographs of scenes of the Holy Land, 12 recreations of local flowers using the flowers.
A strange and attractive tourist piece, although no publisher is listed we have traced other examples produced by Boulos Meo at his antique shop at the Jaffa Gate.

. Some head and foot wear to spine, whilst the tissue guards are heavily spotted the photographs are generally clean, bar marginal toning, and the flowers appear intact, if a touch dulled.
