Sergeant G.R Snowden, E.Company, 5th Battalion Kings Own, Morecambe and The Home Guard - An Interesting Collection of Related Militaria, including:- a No.1 Dress uniform of a crimson tunic with black stand-up collar and cuffs, collar badges, shoulder titles and rank stripes, a pair of black trousers with red side stripes, two red sashes, a peaked cap and two field caps; a No.2 Service tunic and peaked cap, two battledress blouses with Home Guard insignia, a pair of trousers and two field caps, belts and puttees; cloth insignia, cap badges, shoulder titles, rank badges and buttons; his cut throat razor, portrait photographs and personal letters to and from his wife, and from his comrades whilst he was recuperating in hospital after being injured; unrelated medals, two silver war badges, two swagger sticks, four enamel trays, seventeen embroidered silk postcards, and other postcards and ephemera.
