Taxidermy: A Wall Cased Snipe & Chick (Gallinago gallinago), dated 2021, by A.J. Armitstead, Taxidermist & Naturalist, Darlington, Co Durham, a high quality full mount adult Snipe stood upon a painted faux rock ledge, shielding below a young chick, set amidst a natural setting of tall grasses, above soil groundwork, set against a water colour painted hillside lake scene back drop, enclosed within a picture frame style octagonal wall hanging display case, 23.5cm by 8cm by 28.5cm, signed and dated to interior lower left, young chick within is an original Henry Murray specimen.
