A British Military Royal Air Force Stainless Steel Centre Seconds Wristwatch, signed Omega, ref: 2777-1, 1953, (calibre 283) lever movement signed and numbered 12908970, blued overcoil hairspring, dust cover, black dial with Arabic numerals, minutes track, outer luminous dot and baton markers, dial marked with Government broad arrow issue symbol and T in a circle for tritium, screw back engraved with military marks Government broad arrow, NATO code mark 6645-101000, aircrew issue 6B/542 and stores number and year of issue 5437/53, fixed bars between the lugs, inside back cover numbered 2777-1, 36mm, with an Omega service box and a service receipt dated 25/03/2015 see illustration

It is understood that the Omega records show that the British Government ordered 5,900 pieces of this model and issued them in 1953, for one year only.

. 07.06.18, Case sides, bezel and lugs with small dents, watch has been serviced back in 2015 at Ogdens, new Omega crown, dial outer border with very small chips and discoloured between 7 and 11 which is clearer under an eyeglass, dial outer border with minor staining at 2, dial baton and dot luminous markers have faded but nicely aged, dial with minor scratches and one minor stain mark, these marks are only visible under an eyeglass, seconds hand is discoloured and luminous is lacking in parts, minute and hour hands with new luminous, later strap, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order.
