A Late 19th Century Shona Spear, Southern Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, with 23cm narrow leaf shape head, the tang inserted into the tapering cylindrical wood haft and bound with woven brass wire, with wrythen fluted and baluster turned butt and semi ovoid pommel, 122.5cm

. Rust pitting to the blade which is bent and has a flake type flaw to one side. The haft has two splits running along the grain.
