A First World War Prussian Artillery EM's Kugelhelm, in black leather with magnetic silvered metal fittings of detachable ball top with bayonet fixing, five ventilation holes and circular base plate, the back rib with sliding ventilation cover, helmet plate with later leather wedges, the front visor with metal trim, enamelled kokarden, leather chin strap with two brass buckles, with leather liner, the inner visor stencilled B.CVIII. 1915, E.A.R.53, the inner skull stamped with maker's name Maury & Co.

Wear to the silver plated finish. Crackling and blistering to the surface of the leather on the front and back visors.
