Taxidermy: A Cased Brown Trout (Salmo trutta), circa 1948-1951, by Rowland Ward Ltd, 167 Piccadilly, London, a skin mount preserved and mounted against an oil painted riverbed back drop, enclosed within a wall hanging five-glass display case, 76cm by 11.5cm by 31.5cm, attached ivorine legend to interior lower centre -"Trout 7lbs 8oz, Caught by Capt .F. Lemon, in the R. Avon Salisbury in the Electric Light Works Pool", bearing taxidermist's oval paper trade label to verso.
