A Good Pair of William IV Silver Wine Coasters, Charles Fox, London 1836, with a wavy gadroon rim, the sides pierced and engraved with birds perched on branches and a rococo reserve engraved with a crest of a lion's head erased within a fetterlock, below an Earl's coronet, probably for Wyndham, Earls of Egremont, turned wood base, 14cm diameter (2)

. Marks are quite rubbed and some completely obscured, crests also worn. The turned wood bases are loose. Pierced sides are of a good gauge and appear to be generally in good order, possibly one or two well disguised repairs in one or two places.
