A Pair of Empire Style Display Cabinets, with grey veined carrara marble tops over two glazed doors enclosing two fixed shelves, flanked by column supports with gilt cast mounts, raised on compressed feet, formerly 19th Century bookcases adapted, 187cm by 53cm by 105cm

Cabinet 1 - marble top associated. Tops have deep scratches with various chips and nibbles around the edge. Glazed doors with probably modern glass. Interior - fabric is ripped. Bottom plinth where the doors open deep scratch marks around the hinges and the front section. Gilt mounts very dirty and flat. Various scuffs around the base and the sides, in particular back left section on the plinth base has been spliced with a chunk of wood missing with further scuffs underneath. Moulded columns on the front also have faults and scuffs. Cabinet 2 - marble with deep scratches with various chips and faults around the edge. Front of doors and plinth base with further scuff marks at the front around the hinges. Brass work dirty. Side panels - the plinth base on the right side with further faults with veneers. The plinth has been cut. Left hand side plinth base - again large chunk is missing with veneers lifting. Further scuff marks around the base. Columns supports with deep scratches and bruising. 260310
