Taxidermy: A Wall Cased European Woodcock (Scolopax rusticola), dated 1999, by Roger. G. Fisher, Taxidermy, Sheffield, a superb quality full mount adult in flying pose with wings outstretched, above frosted groundwork beneath, amidst a natural setting of frozen leaves and fauna, set against a watercolour painted winter woodland scene back drop, enclosed within a picture frame style wall hanging four-glass display case, 39.5cm by 18cm by 44.5cm excluding outer frame, a pair of trade mark Jay wing feathers to the interior groundwork, signed and dated to interior lower right.
