The lock clasp is bent, the handle, hinged lock escutcheon and slide clasp are ok. The japanning is in relatively good order although it has a number of scratches commensurate with age. The scratch on the lid being the worst. The fascia has two dents towards the base. The gold interior has minor spots of rust pitting but generally good. It has a hinged panel set to the back panel which opens to locate with a catch on the front panel to form a compartment for a hat. The dimensions are 104cm by 36cm by 26cm
