Taxidermy: Indian Jackal (Canis aureus indicus), dated 1934, by Van Ingen & Van Ingen, Taxidermist's, Mysore, India, numbered 20160, a high quality head mount in defensive pose with mouth agape and ears laid back, turning slightly to the right, glass eyes, mounted upon a typical oversized mahogany shield, from the wall 28cm, bearing white metal plaque - " Mhow Hounds, Harsola, L.D.R. March 8th 1934", impressed trade stamp to verso, including complete Van Ingen & Van Ingen care label to verso, including accompanying mounted Jackal brush with white metal cap and ring, attached to a shaped hardwood shield, with applied white metal plaque - "Mhow Hounds, Chorlia, E.M.R, Jan 1st 1933", together with a mounted Jackal pad with white metal cap and ring, attached to a shaped hardwood shield, with applied white metal plaque - " Mhow hounds, Bargunda, E.M.R, Dec 18th 1933", (3).
