A George II Silver Caster, by Samuel Wood, London, 1747, baluster and on spreading foot, the pierced pull-off cover with baluster finial, engraved with a crest, 15cm high, 152gr

Fully marked underneath and further part marked with maker's mark and lion passant on cover. The marks on the base are clear. The marks on the cover are very clear. There is some overalls urface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a bruise to the foot. The engraved crest is perhaps later.
