A German Third Reich Afrika Korps Field Cap, of olive green twill, with two ventilation gromets to each side of the skull, applied with a woven national eagle in light blue/grey threads on a cut-out, woven tan rayon base, over a national tricolour cockade and with inverted green piping to the Panzer Grenadier unit, the red lining stamped with maker's name Gg. Schwert, size 57, numbered 235 and dated 1942
