Right foot with a hole, formerly to pin the statue in place. The other foot with one pin, remnants of one and some deep scratches. Some minor dents and surface markings, mainly to the legs. One point on the shell possibly with an old loss and some other flat spot areas (see images).

The Summer Fine Sale offers nearly 450 lots of ceramics, Asian art, clocks, rugs, works of art and furniture, including a collection of 19th century Terracotta Campagna Urns from Raby Castle, County Durham, a Lock of Florence Nightingale's Hair, and a French Alabaster Figure Group of the Holy Family, probably made in South West France in the late 14th century.
